About Elk Barn
Elk barn has been lovingly converted to create an amazing space for family and friends to get together whether it’s to simply relax and chill out or to celebrate a special occasion. Designed creatively to maximise the space and to take advantage of the wonderful coastal views, it offers all your creature comforts in luxury accommodation. The beautiful stone steps lead to the entrance door, where you are greeted by the stunning open plan lounge, kitchen and dining areas, contemporary oak staircase, glass panels, feature stone walls, exposed beams, tiled floors and underfloor heating, all of which are designed to enhance your stay. The dining table takes centre stage with room for everyone to gather round, if you have booked both barns there is ample space for ten people to eat together. Open the French doors and let the outside in, listen out for the sound of the nearby stream and local birds.
After dinner take time to relax on the sofa in the snug, taking in the lovely sea views, maybe read a good book or just catch up with your friends and family. In the lounge area, settle in to the sofas to watch a film on TV, maybe light the log burner for a cosy night in. On the ground floor you will also find a spacious king-size bedroom with wonderful views towards the sea and a stylish en-suite shower room with WC. Upstairs you have the choice of a further two bedrooms. There is a super king-size bedroom which has a daybed and wonderful sea views. The second bedroom is a spacious king-size room with door to the rear patio area. All the bedrooms have quality bedlinen and excellent beds to ensure a good night’s rest. Lastly enjoy a leisurely bath or shower in the stylish bathroom with bath, feature stone sink, shower and WC. This property is a joy to stay in with lovely views to wake up to.
Outside, enjoy the wildlife, the sounds of the sea, nearby brook and bird song along with wonderful sea views from sunrise to sunset from the paved terrace with table and chairs. Relax on the lawn, walk down to babbling stream or head down to the beach. There is plenty of space to store your bike and canoes with ample private parking. This is one of two properties in the grounds, which can be booked separately or together.
